My favorite sleeping cot is the LL Bean Swedish camping gear sleeping cot. It is well made and won’t squeak when laid on. It is advertised as a no sagging nylon design and can be purchased for around eighty dollars. LL Bean also makes another version of this cot that has foam padding giving the user even more comfort. It sells for one hundred dollars. The Alps mountaineering Camp cot costs around sixty five dollars.
The best thing about it is it is extra wide and extra long. This eliminates bumping elbows on the steel bars at night. It also allows for movement which makes sleeping much easier. Most people move around at night and this cot allows people the extra moving room. More camping gear sleeping cots include the Rothco olive drab sleeping cot. This folds up into a smaller size and it is easy to pack. This is a basic cot with no frills and sells for about twenty dollars.
